The Oakland Data Center is seeking an Operations Manager. This position has the overall accountability for the success of the Data Entry Operation (DEO) for the Financial and Government Services branch, mainly to ensure that the DEO solution is run efficiently while meeting Service Level Agreements and goals, delivering professional quality and timely service to our customers, adhering to company policies and culture, and meeting financial parameters.
Operational, financial and relational responsibilities include:
- Adapt an organizational chart for center that compliments the corporate vision of leadership and development
- Hire appropriate staff, train, coach and mentor to ensure maximum productivity
- Meet and exceed all Service Level Agreements of timely and accurate delivery: monitor, identify and resolve performance/behavior and attendance issues using TDEC performance management techniques; review statistics on a daily basis and provide immediate constructive feedback, use real-time performance results to impact end-of-day or deadline-based performance, modify production as needed to meet SLA agreements, etc.
- Provide exemplary leadership to center personnel and management by becoming a role model for direct reports, applying motivational tools and techniques to create a hyped, loyal and energetic production team
- Hold regular team meetings to enhance team spirit and communication
- Monitor and report results
- Ensure staff abides by all corporate policies and standards
- Facilities management
- Undertake personal and professional development to enhance marketability within the company.
The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree in related fields
- A minimum 2 years experience in a similar role is essential
- Have a track record of working with a demanding, quality focused environment
- Superior attention to detail with excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Have strong communications skills both writing and verbally
- Must be flexible, hard working and dedicated
