The State of Ohio Department of Administrative Services awarded a contract with TDEC on behalf the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation (BWC) to provide document indexing services for incoming Medical Repository faxes. The contract began August 1, 2014 and runs until July 31, 2016, with a two-year renewal option.
The BWC is the largest exclusive state insurance fund system in the United States, with total invested assets of $24 billion and annual insurance premiums and assessments of approximately $2 billion. With the contract value being a fixed firm unit price, TDEC will perform these services onsite at the BWC.
